Gomes, Melissa: - I am Melissa Gomes, a researcher, practitioner and author of books about religion, mythology and spirituality. My books span from Pagan Religion to Norse Mythology and Spiritualism.I have studied ancient religions for over 10 years. My passion is teaching people how to tap into the wisdom of their own spiritual tradition to make sense of themselves in this confusing world.I teach workshops on topics such as: finding your personal power animal; connecting with your ancestors through divination; understanding the meaning behind tarot cards or runes; learning what it means when you dream about someone who has died; reading tea leaves for guidance and interpretation; discovering more about yourself through astrology (sun signs) or numerology and my favorite, learning how to work directly with your subconscious mind to solve problems and have the life you want.I also write on current events that relate to symbolism and mythology to help us all understand our history better and make better decisions for our future.In my free time, I am an avid practitioner of Yoga, studying the traditional philosophy and offering workshops to help other people find insight into their everyday lives through this ancient practice. I also love gardening and cooking since both of these activities allow me to relax, get outside more often and enjoy nature's bounty right in my own backyard.
