Birds of Georgia - John Parrish

Dr. John Parrish is a life member of the American Ornithologists' Union, the Kansas Ornithological Society and the Georgia Ornithological Society. Dr. Parrish has been active in the USGS Breeding Bird Survey program, assisted with the Georgia Breeding Bird Atlas project and is an active participant in the Audubon Christmas Bird Count program. He is an avid birder and photographer, and you won't see him in the field without both his binoculars and telephoto-equipped SLR camera. \nGiff Beaton has been leading bird tours in Georgia and across North America for more than twenty years, and he has been on the state Bird Record Committees for both Georgia and South Carolina. He and his wife Becky live in Marietta, Georgia, not far from the great migrant location Kennesaw Mountain.\n
